MGP Junior aka Kid Eurovision in Denmark is this weekend. A primer for folks who don’t know, and a flashback to 2024. I’m a long time music industry professional / snob, and a lot of these songs are properly good. The kids that enter are required to write the songs themselves, and they’re real topics that matter to them like divorce, friendship, bullying. Better than a lot of pop radio, or even regular Eurovision songs, plus it’s a fun way to learn Danish. I’m just as invested as the girls are.
