A full list has been revealed of defects plaguing the new fleet of Sydney's River Class ferries. The government has conceded 43 defects raised, across 10 vessels. Among them, that ferries cannot pass under certain bridges across the Parramatta River, if passengers are seated on the top deck. The operator of Sydney's troubled Emerald class Manly ferries, Transdev, has dismissed reports that one of the new vessels was in the path of a cruise ship yesterday when it suffered a steering failure. Three of the Chinese made ferries have been pulled from service, following another steering failure on the Clontarf on Sunday. The premier says he's not worried.
