This is an excellent book. The original stories in German are translated quite adequately into English. The German speaker can learn English, and the English speaker can learn German. This book is quite good for helping either of the speakers to learn the other language. The pages are side by side - facing each other. On the left side is the German, on the right side the English. Definitely a wealth of vocabulary and colloquial expressions. So, in conclusion, this is an excellently translated book, and is best utilized by intermediate (or higher level) learners of either German or English.Read Less
