Clone or download the extension code to your local directory. In your local directory with the copy of the product, run command: vsce package. This way, you can recreate a .vsix version of the package not only for the version presented at the Visual Studio Marketplace but for any earlier release.

However, if you use the pasted code to create a new style, Word automatically strips the color coded text and changes them to be black (or whatever the auto default color is).

I know you can Format Code using Ctrl + F / Cmd + F in Visual Studio Code but how do you change the formatting options for each language? For example, in Visual Studio 2013 I can choose compact mode for CSS. Is there another hidden JSON file to do that?
